Bunny Basics and Beyond
3:30pm – 5:00pm • Day 2 – September 16, 2021
Rabbits are complex and often confusing animals. Whether you help adopters decide if a rabbit is right for their lifestyle, work in a shelter environment with rabbits, or just want to expand your knowledge about rabbits, this is the class for you. We will cover general facts, diet, health, behavior (including kennel aggression), handling, appropriate housing and enrichment for these curious and adorable pets who become part of our families and lives.
Robyn Levy is the volunteer training coordinator for the Dumb Friends League and is affectionately known as the Bunny Lady. She has more than 20 years of experience with rabbits and is passionate about educating people on proper care. For eight years, she has worked with new adopters and owners to help resolve behavior issues with owned rabbits and help clients bond their resident rabbit with a newly adopted rabbit. She has two rabbits at home, Edward and Annabelle Dumpling.
