Larimer Humane Society is seeking qualified applicants for the position of part-time Licensing Assistant. Our Licensing Assistants represent the Organization in a professional and courteous manner and provide quality customer service and accurate data handling and entry. The job requires great customer service skills, both in person and over the phone, as well as a professional demeanor. Must be able to quickly learn and accurately use specialized software as well as learn and communicate a wide range of policies and procedures. Work includes customer interaction, processing animal licenses and tags, significant and continuous data entry and computer work, fee handling and money reconciliation, mail preparation and processing, and more. The job includes a significant amount of fast paced, sedentary computer and telephone work. Must have emotional intelligence, work ethics and integrity skills and must maintain a solid attendance and punctuality record. Requirements include one year of customer service experience and excellent computer skills. Proficient English and Spanish bilingual skills and experience (speaking, writing and reading) are a plus and include a wage premium. General hours of operation for the department are 8AM to 5PM Monday through Friday and are subject to change due to business need. Limited evening and weekend hours may be required.
