Black Dog Animal Rescue (BDAR) is Wyoming’s largest private companion animal rescue and advocacy organization. Utilizing an innovative blend of traditional sheltering and a robust volunteer and foster home program, the organization participates in the successful rescue, re-homing, and provision of needed services to more than 2,000 companion animals each year. Our mission is to promote, provide, and advocate for the needs of companion animals.
Ongoing initiatives include the planning and launch of the state’s first dedicated, low cost spay and neuter clinic, a state-wide shelter and rescue networking and collaboration group, and work with public policy makers to ensure ongoing enhancements for animal welfare and protections.
