The Humane Society of Boulder Valley serves approximately 5000 animals each year and provides animal impounds housing for Boulder and Broomfield Counties, and the towns of Dacono and Fredrick in Weld County. HSBV’s full-service hospital provides veterinary care to private clients, sheltered animals, and offers safety net assistance with veterinary services for pets at risk of relinquishment within our service area. HSBV operates a robust training and behavior program, offering behavior modification for shelter animals, public dog training classes, private animal behavior consultations, and court-ordered dog evaluations. HSBV finds loving homes for 3300 animals annually and reunites hundreds of lost pets with their families.
