Julianna Tetlow is Director of Government Relations for San Diego Humane Society, where she leads statewide legislative strategy and local government partnerships focused on strengthening animal welfare systems across California. Her work centers on advancing thoughtful, practical policy that supports shelters, wildlife rehabilitation, and the nonprofit organizations that serve their communities. Julianna brings a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach to public policy, grounded in real-world contract negotiations and coalition-building. She cares deeply about building systems that treat both animals and the people who care for them with dignity, fairness, and compassion and believes strong partnerships between government and nonprofits are essential to that mission.
