Client Services Supervisor – Lead With Heart at Our Animal Shelter (Loveland, CO)
Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt | Leadership | People & Animal Focused

At our Loveland shelter, we don’t just care for animals—we help them find their way home. As a working supervisor, you’ll lead by example, mentor a passionate team, and ensure every client and animal receives the highest level of care and support.

Expected hiring rate is $21.00 per hour. Closes July 25th, 2025, or when filled.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead and supervise the Client Services team during your shift—including adoptions, intakes, and client interactions
  • Train and support staff and volunteers to provide top-tier service and communication
  • Manage client concerns with professionalism and compassion, using strong de-escalation skills
  • Review workflow, suggest improvements, and help implement positive change
  • Stay hands-on—this role includes daily interaction with animals and client-facing duties
  • Collaborate across departments to keep operations smooth and efficient
  • Serve as a role model for professionalism, empathy, and shelter standards

What We’re Looking For:

Required:

  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of supervisory or lead experience (animal welfare a plus)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in high-pressure, public-facing roles with de-escalation ability
  • Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as needed
  • Must be at least 21 with a valid Colorado driver’s license and insurable record
  • Ability and willingness to become euthanasia certified

Preferred:

  • Experience in animal shelter or veterinary settings
  • Familiarity with Chameleon or other shelter software
  • Bilingual English/Spanish (includes a wage premium)
  • Knowledge of basic animal care, handling, and behavior
