Turn Compassion into Lasting Impact
Individual Giving Manager
Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region (HSPPR)

Do you believe a great story can change lives?

Can a heartfelt email inspire someone to save an animal? Does crafting the perfect donor experience excite you just as much as analyzing campaign results? Are you equally comfortable brainstorming creative fundraising ideas, writing compelling copy, and diving into donor data?

If you answered “yes,” then we may have your dream job.

At the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region (HSPPR), every donation has a story-and every story has the power to save lives. As our Individual Giving Manager, you’ll lead annual giving efforts that inspire thousands of supporters to invest in compassionate care for animals throughout our community.

From direct mail campaigns and Giving Tuesday to monthly donors, stewardship programs, and innovative digital fundraising, you’ll help create meaningful connections that fuel our mission:

HSPPR offers compassionate care to animals, supports safe communities, and provides socially conscious sheltering.

What You’ll Do
No two days are exactly alike-and that’s exactly how we like it! You’ll:

Lead annual giving campaigns that generate $1.5–2 million annually
Write compelling fundraising appeals, donor emails, newsletters, and stewardship pieces that inspire generosity
Oversee direct mail, digital fundraising, signature giving days, employee giving, matching gifts, and our beloved Happy Tails League monthly giving program
Use donor data and campaign analytics to improve results and grow giving year after year
Build meaningful relationships with mid-level donors and create memorable stewardship experiences
Work alongside our Marketing & Communications team to bring powerful animal stories to life through words, photos, and video
Supervise our Stewardship Coordinator while helping develop volunteers and staff who support donor appreciation efforts
Collaborate with an incredible team of philanthropy professionals working toward ambitious fundraising goals
We’re Looking for Someone Who…
Loves building relationships as much as building fundraising campaigns
Is both creative and analytical
Can write copy that makes people laugh, cry, and click “Donate”
Thrives juggling multiple projects without losing sight of the details
Enjoys collaborating with designers, marketers, development professionals, and leadership
Gets excited about dashboards, donor retention rates, segmentation, and campaign performance
Believes every donor deserves to know the incredible difference their generosity makes
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
3–5 years of progressive fundraising experience, preferably managing an annual giving program
Experience with copywriting, email marketing, and donor communications
Familiarity with fundraising databases such as Raiser’s Edge, digital giving platforms like Qgiv, and email marketing tools such as Mailchimp
Strong project management and organizational skills
Experience supervising staff is a plus
CFRE certification is appreciated
A collaborative spirit, positive attitude, and passion for continuous learning
Why HSPPR?
Because every day, your work directly helps animals find safety, healing, and loving homes.

You’ll join a passionate, mission-driven team that celebrates creativity, collaboration, innovation, and compassion. We believe fundraising is about more than raising dollars-it’s about building a community of people who believe every animal deserves a chance.
