Second Chance Humane Society’s mission is Connecting Pets, People & Community While Saving Lives. We believe pets and people live better together and our programs and services are developed to support this connection with all people and pets. Our shelter is located in Ridgway Colorado but we service Ouray, San Miguel and Montrose County’s and beyond with an array of outreach programs and services geared toward keeping pets with their people for their lifetimes. We are a socially conscious animal welfare organization.
