National Mill Dog Rescue is a 501c3 nonprofit started in 2007. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home discarded breeding dogs and to educate the general public about the cruel realities of the commercial dog breeding industry. As of 12/31/2023, more than 20,000 dogs had received lifesaving second chances through medical and social rehabilitation and adoption. We have a 17,000 sq. ft. kennel and 6,000 sq. ft. veterinary/rehab facility on our owned property near Peyton, Colo., which is 20 minutes east of Colorado Springs. We educate through social media, traditional media and in-person events.
