Commander Robyn VanDerLeest
Commander VanDerLeest has a bachelor’s degree from Metro State University in Denver in psychology and criminal justice as well as an MSM in Management from Regis University. She has served more than 21 years in law enforcement as a patrol officer and sergeant at the City of Boulder Police Department and now commander for the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office. As the coordinator for the patrol training program, she has taught emotional intelligence to patrol officers for more than 10 years.
