Purpose of Position: The Campaign Coordinator will support the Dumb Friends League in coordinating a signature-gathering campaign to get a measure on the Colorado ballot. The Campaign Coordinator will play a crucial role in recruiting, training, and supervising volunteers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies for recruiting signature gathering volunteers throughout the state using various channels such as social media, community outreach, and partner relationships.
  • Schedule and facilitate trainings to familiarize volunteers with the signature gathering process.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to volunteers to enhance their effectiveness.
  • Serve as a point of contact for volunteers, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain the schedules and ensure adequate coverage for events and other collection opportunities in the community.
  • Monitor volunteer progress towards goal and provide support as needed.
  • Respond to all inquiries from community members interested in supporting the signature gathering effort.
  • Provide regular communication, including campaign updates and signature gathering opportunities to volunteers supporting this effort.
  • Maintain accurate records of volunteer information, including contact details, assigned petitions, dates, signatures gathered, and hours volunteered.

  • This position requires driving a company vehicle
  • This position requires some travel around Metro Denver and the front range.

Compensation: $21.60-$22.75 per hour (starting pay commensurate with market, experience, and equity)

Work Conditions and Physical Requirements

Performs work primarily in an office setting. Potentially prolonged periods of sitting and repetitive motion. May work in an area with high noise level. Potentially subject to animal bites and scratches. Exposure to cleaning chemicals, fumes, dust, animal dander, and feces. Occasional lifting with reasonable accommodation.

Required

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Work Experience: Previous experience in volunteer coordination or related work.
  • Special Training, Certification or Licensure: Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record
